Interactive Theatre International presents:

FAULTY TOWERS THE DINING EXPERIENCE

A globetrotting production featuring Basil, Sybil and Manuel in a ‘two-hour eat, drink and laugh sensation’ (Daily Telegraph).

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience creates The Torquay Suite Theatre at the four-star Charing Cross Hotel in The Strand. The show starts as the audience waits to be seated and then hurtles along for two hours of fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre. With only a third of the show scripted, everything stays fresh as Basil, Sybil and Manuel serve up madcap mayhem and a three course meal.

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is an affectionate homage to Fawlty Towers the TV series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth. Their original TV scripts are not used in Faulty Towers The Dining Experience. Artistic director and co-creator of the show, Alison Pollard-Mansergh, adds,
‘Faulty is spelled that way because when I started this show in 1997, John Cleese was still young enough to have done the role, as were Prunella Scales and Andrew Sachs. I wanted to be absolutely clear that we were not the original, so I spelled it differently. However, both John Cleese and the BBC know of us and we work a lot with the BBC.’

The show has eight teams of cast who continue to tour the UK and the world non-stop. It will be appearing in over 20 countries in 2013.

"THEATRES FOR THEATRES APPEAL"
Great Ormond Street Hospital is looking for support from amateur dramatic societies, theatres and other budding performers to help raise vital funds towards two Neurosciences operating theatres for our young patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The Appeal aims to raise £4million towards the construction of 2 brand new state of the art operating theatres at Great Ormond Street Hospital to be used for children who require specialist neurosurgery. The neurosciences team treats over 8,000 children each year, with demand for neurosurgery already outstrips current capacity.

Could your company hold collections for us during your pantomime season? Ask users of your venue to hold a collection for us during their production? Ask patrons if they would like to add a donation to the price of their tickets? Put a collection box on the Box Office Counter?

The Appeal can provide advertising copy, collection buckets and boxes, stickers and paying-in slips, curtain call speeches and other support for your fundraising efforts.

To find out more, or make a donation
visit their website now.
